The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

Glad today was slow at work because I was definetely not feeling it. I was so ready to just crawl into bed and die and now here I am. It was nice though,my coworker was talking to me a bunch and asked for my number. I believe he is trying to initiate friendship. I do have to work again tomorrow, but there is some promise because i'll see my buddy and he'll be coming to my house to celebrate New Year's eve with me. Seriously though this is probably the coolest thing i've done all week. Eh well also i've gotten close to him and its just that pure elation you feel when you find someone who really gets you and you just want to hug them and squeeze them and wear matching fangs and sit under trees with them because their so perfect. .-. but not cause your hitting on them or want to initiate a sexual relationship or something. I think our generation has lost sight of the beauty that is true, innocent, childlike friendship. Heh I may be a bit cheesy, but that feeling is so nice to me when you can just be yourself around someone and they want to spend time with you just because they enjoy your company. I seriously love my friend though. We need to take a moment of our time to appreciate this curly haired dork who has entered my life. I don't think I could have a better friend. Its people like this who bring out the best in me, that always make my life better and for that I love them with all the corners of my heart.

The past few days have been nice since I have had the oppotunity to really relax. Not thrilled to go to work tonight because i've gotten used to this relaxing state I have been in for the past few days. Mostly I have been laying in bed watching movies and tv shows on my Labtop. I actually found a really cool new cartoon called Trollhunters. Alas, this show is probably meant for ten year olds, but I really love fantasy and find it intriguing so i'm just like whatever i'll watch it. Found out why it's so cool though. It was made by Guillermo Del Toro. I absolutely love him, the man is a genius of cinema. So yeah i've been watching that and I also watched The Hobbit: The Battle of The Five Armies last night. I am a giant Lord of The Rings fan so naturally I absolutely loved it. I've also been working on a drawing for a friend, at a slow rate till I get really inspired. Basically though i'm just drawing his Worgen character Fallia drinking in a bar in a full coat of armour. I think i'm also gonna put my troll character in the background just to be funny. I will also name the bar The Hand of Tyr for added grotesque humour. (All you Asatrus will get that reference ;) ) Also my ref sheet of Rune is being made by my friend which is exciting. I think why i've been so lazy lately though besides the fact that well i'm lazy as hell is probably because I have been wuite congested. So i'm kind of in a perpetual state of blah. Oh well, work shows some promise because I may be able to see my buddy as I haven't seen him awhile because we've both been on vacation. It'll be nice to just give him a big hug. Heh, even though I know after work tomorrow he will be coming over to spend New Year's Eve with me and we'll probably end up eating, watching, cartoons, and talking about nerdy stuff. Monday, i'll have my paycheck and then its back to christmas shopping and soon the spring semester of school will be upon me.

The trip to Florida was quite fun and eventful. It was nice getting a change of scenery and getting to spend time with my love. I always loved the swamp and I especially loved visiting the ocean and feeling the sapphire waves lapping at my feet. I was quite taken with the sight of the palmetto bushes and the spanish moss. The ferns and flowers were lovely too. I was in a place where I could truly be in harmony with nature. I went outside almost everyday and I felt content walking along the lush tree lines. Me and shane spent most of our time walking since it was hard to get a ride everyday, but the afternoon walks were still very nice. We also spent a lot of time in a little metaphysical shop called Avalon and I bought a few more new books. I also got a hefty stack of books when I returned home for Christmas. I started reading a book on the sacred trees of the Ogham recently and i'm really loving it. Trees are one of my many joys in life and learning all their folklore and magickal attributes is wonderful. Anyways my trip was still very wonderful. While I was at the beach I collected a whole bag of shells and I also collected a bottle of sea water to use in my spells and rituals. We also went to Disney Springs which was fun, but very congested with people. We didn't do much at Disney Springs, but we did go to a nice candy shop where they make the candy fresh in front of you and I got a candied apple and salt water taffy. After I bought candy me, shane, and our friends miyuki and wulf sat under the wake of the Rainforest Cafe restaurant and munched on the taffy. Then after we were done at disney springs we raced down the highway singing Iron Maiden at the top of our lungs. I felt very content being with these people whom I love very much. I'm back in Colorado now, but I am happy to have a piece of my sanctuary with me. Though I am home and away from the enigmatic swamps and golden sandy shores of Florida I have kept that joy with me. I am ready to learn new magicks from the trees and I await the day I see my love again. For that is the greatest magick of all.
